Mark of MJWD provided a competitive quote for the refurbishment of my garden which involved re-fencing, soil removal, full paving and associated drainage and also creation of steps. While carrying out the work, amendments were needed to achieve the desired end result which required additional materials and labour - these were discussed and competitive quotes for these additional works agreed as we went along. EDITED: Hiring Edward was an expensive mistake. The door was designed/installed to my specifications but the door deteriorated after less than 1 year. Edward volunteered that a replacement door was required but then spent 2+ years delaying/avoiding me. No replacement/no reimbursement to date. He is unreliable and unprofessional. I write this feedback with a heavy heart as I have tried to partner with him on a fair solution to no avail.

Main task of laying wood was top class. Reasons for the mixed review: - As part of cost, was promised beading that would colour match the wood, but he turned up with different colour beading and it was left to me to varnish it - door needed to be trimmed because the wooden floor was at a raised height - was cut incorrectly. He promised to return and fix the door and lay a bridge to the carpeted hallway if I paid him in full which I did. Despite me following up, he never returned which I find dishonest.

Tomasz not only is a great expert in building and renovation work with 20+ years of experience, he was also very careful to all the small details. Quality of finish was poor, not a professional std from a qual carpenter.Broke floor tiling,smashed mirror, drilled 3 saw marks into the floor as no plinth was used.Agreed to make good smashed mirror,broken tiling, saw mark damage but never returned.Marks/holes in surface facing wood covered up badly with filler/wood shavings.Gaps between cupboard doors/walls.Paid for anti water resistant wood but cheap chipboard used instead.Drilled through the opposing wall which required patching.Would never recommend

Was disappointed that a little bit of damage was done to the door, also, no dust sheets, the initial job I am happy with but the door is very slightly sticking at the door frame, never done this before, I will admit that it's so tiny and perhaps I'm being picky, but I don't want one problem solved to be left with perhaps another one in the future, I know nothing about hanging doors but feel that this one hasn't been quite correctly hung, I may be wrong, only time will tell...
