Tom came to quote and gave a figure much higher than expected. I knew before the £500 was too low but to put £1000 seemed OTT. Discussed requirements and Tom researched the prices. Sliding doors were very expensive. We decided on hinged ones instead saving about £200. The final figure was above budget but I felt it was worth it to have the study I wanted. Tom came when said he would and worked hard to complete the project in the time quoted. I like the quality of result and am pleased with the workmanship.

I am primarily a bricklaying specialist though I am more than happy to do natural stone work as well. I have worked on and completed many projects including new builds, small and large extensions, commercial and private developments, retaining walls, stone work, re-pointing, renovations, fireplaces, Indian stone flagging, renovations and structural alterations. I have sub-contracted for most of the major house builders, worked for private developers, and also many bricklaying contractors, though I am now focussing on working direct for the public offering a professional, efficient and competitive bricklaying service which includes all aspects of bricklaying from new builds,extensions and garden/retaining walls right through to a small repair job! Cliff, he was efficient, reliable, well priced and an excellent tradesman. We called him in to repair a chimney breast and fix our garage which was leaking. We were delighted with the work on the chimney, he is a fantastic render and plasterer. cliff is now renovating our bathroom, plus our neighbours are also putting him to work.
