P & L have just completed today(9/10/24) our bathroom makeover & we are absolutely delighted with the work done. This was to remove existing floor tiles , prepare for new ones & fit & grout replacements. Then to fit a toilet bowl plus seat. All done in budget and to the timescale promised. John came out & had a look at the job & we agreed a price. I showed him the access & he said there were no problems with getting a grinder in. On the day, he sent someone else who felled the tree but left the stump. I let him know that the agreement was to grind the stump and he advised that his grinder could not do the job. I paid up because John seemed okay & I thought I could sort it out with him later. At first, it seemed likely, but he has since stopped answering. I wouldn't recommend JTS to anyone,

I'd highly recommend John. He managed our expectations well from the start - turned up on time to quote, delivered a quote the next day as promised, provided references when we asked for them (who backed up that he's a good builder), found a space in his schedule quickly to fit our job in, did it quickly, efficiently and leaving no mess afterwards. And charged us a reasonable amount for the work. Couldn't speak more highly of him, and will definitely ask him to quote on our extension when we progress with the planning.

I would say the work carried out was good for the budget at hand. Very clean, tidy and fast workers. Had a minor breakdown in communication for the scope so please ensure you define the scope clearly. Friendly and cooperative. The work carried out was fit for purpose and completed within budget.
