As I'm now based in NZ, Carl tended to my front and back garden in Hertfordshire to keep it looking good while the property is on the market. Not too impressed. Not very knowledgeable regarding plants. Asked him about gooseberry bush and two other plants and he said he had no knowledge of either, yet he told me he was a fully qualified gardener. Charges were twenty pounds an hour, I used him twice and each time I got one and three quarters hours work he spent ha an hour in total amberling to his van to pu his tools away, which to me should have taken five minutes had he bothered to walk faster. I cancelled third visit as I was not too impress.

Great quality fence panels, posts and cement boards. Courteous. Good natured. Worked hard and fast completing the job in a day. Were open to my input on each height etc as garden sloped downhill a bit.

I had some fencing replaced, some crazy paving taken up and gravel put down and a gate erected by these guys. The work was done to a great standard with minimum fuss and in a timely fashion. They do not use any sub-contractors so you know who you are dealing with throughout the project. The site was left clean and tidy too so I am more than happy to recommend SNC Building and Maintenance Service for similar jobs.

The two guys that came, were, quick, clean, polite, took extra rubbish for no extra money, kept in contact throughout the day, recommend highly, will use again, good thing is they are part of a team that do most work that needs to be done in or out of the house. Very happy.

It is always somewhat of a lottery when hiring a tradesman but we really struck lucky with Daniel. What a great find he was. Quality and care of work was outstanding. (Toilet floor tiling). His work was neat, precise, organised and efficient. He didn't once stop for a break or anything. Exceptionally polite and friendly and clearly skilled at this work. And his pricing was excellent. I would and indeed will use Daniel again and would certainly recommend him to others in a heartbeat.Outstanding and thank you
