My rating is based on customer service only. At this point I was seeking costs and advice of which I promptly got from Adam. Along with discussing the job I posted, we also talked about another job I have; He’s the first person to suggest checking / replacing a part other than my needing a new shower unit. 20yrs in the trades qualified plumber leaks, drips and blockages no problem all aspects of building works and maintenance considered.
I would highly recommend Dan. My kitchen sink was blocked and it turned out not to be a simple blockage. He had to get to the pipework under my bath (not easy because of wooden panelling) and lower the pipe as it was bowed and drill through the wall and reconnect the outside pipe. He worked hard, was very personable and, as I say, I would highly recommend him and would definitely use him again. Thanks Dan.

Very misleading. I was told if a part was required I would not be charged for the time to go & get it. What I didn't anticipate was being asked to order the part online. I was told that I would incur another 1 hour charge to come back & fix it. The charge is £62.50 per half hour, minimum 1 hour. Having already paid the hourly charge I declined as total cost would have been £250 ex vat. plumber was at my house for 20 minutes, charged £125 ex vat, toilet not fixed. Rip off

I was contacted by a couple of tradesman about the job I posted, one was Hass from Comforooms and one was Shef. Both of them were very nice, but we went with Comforooms, I would definitely consider Shef for future jobs too. Hass was very professional, polite, gave a written quote and reassured us that he would do a really good job, he had completed the task and my mum seems happy with the finishing, he has also guaranteed the work if anything happens again but ensured us that we won’t have future problems.
