Really happy with the job that Mark carried out. I was expecting to have to replace the gate post and he has made good the damage and looks great. He persevered with the bad weather and kept me regularly updated on when he could get the work done.

There is no job that can not be completed to the highest standards an speedy delivery. We cover all aspects of plastering, including MF ceilings gypliner systems floating to rendering systems i.e. Krend which we are certified by Krend and can give a 30 year guarantee. We machine apply renders. Full house renovation to new build dryline an skimming. I am also a director of a construction Company Makerfield Construction Ltd for anything other than plastering.

Really disappointed with job and how when the plaster dried out you could see bumps and holes all over the walls. Very messy aswell plus James's dad was very unprofessional as he couldn't get away quick enough. I would 100% NOT RECOMMEND for any plastering work

Donal came out within 24 hours and gave a more than competitive quote , This father and son (Brett) team are not only excellent traders men but are generally just lovely people!! They arrived when they said they would, and got on with the job. !! Worked solid through the 3 days it took to complete my job and the standard was first class !! They were professional, friendly , polite and respectful as well as good at what they do, I will definitely be using them again ! If they will come back! Thanks guys x

Left carpet and 2 sets of my ladders covered in plaster. Paid for 2 days work when it only took 1. Had to patch up parts he had missed through rushing the job. Didn't have the correct tools for plastering round the stairs. Used my ladders. Didn't even have enough covers for the carpet.

Used GR building to re slate my roof. after 3 weeks 2 slates came off. Repeatedly rang and left messages and he finally came back to sort it out after not appearing the first date given. 3 more slates have just come off. Even taking into account the strong winds I find it unacceptable that this can happen. I will not be asking him it sort it this time as I have no confidence he will do the job correctly and have made alternative arrangements.

Great service from start to finish.Provided a detailed quote by email very quickly. Agreed a start date and kept in touch before starting to check if I had any questions. Arrived on time each day and didn’t stop working till the end of each day. Cleaned up each day even though it was a really dirty job. Kept me informed each day of where the job was up to and what would happen next. I sadly have to give the ratings I have. I was chasing for an appointment so Mark & his brother could give a price, which I eventually got. Then I had to chase for a start date. Mark said his daughter was in hospital, which happens. I said I would wait. I asked did he want the job. He said it would be a few weeks. I said I would wait, & wait a & wait etc. I got no response. It was clear they did not want the job. My time was wasted. Sadly I would not reccomend. A case of Cherry picking.

Great job done by the guys at CKJ Construction, from the initial consultation through to the work itself. The job was a combination of pulling up, cleaning, re-laying and pointing tiles around the perimeter of the house as well as removing some bushes, putting down turf and installing new sleepers. All work done to a good standard with attention to detail and at a fair price. Would definitely use again and would recommend for a wide variety of jobs. Thank you!

Don't hire - he quotes price (that then increases once he's started work), doesn't show up for weeks on end - despite promises to come, Then, after payment, disappears and ghosts the customer leaving the job unfinished - AVOID!
