I can’t speak highly enough of Daniel, he did an excellent job. He was very meticulous and went above and beyond what he was asked. He was very polite and friendly, cleaned up everywhere and replaced things as they were before he left. What a fantastic job Jack and the team did! As well as providing a very competitive quote they completed the works to budget and to a great timescale to get us the extension we needed before Christmas. Communication was positive throughout the job and the sharing of design ideas and their experience was essential to achieve the results we wanted. Left carpet and 2 sets of my ladders covered in plaster. Paid for 2 days work when it only took 1. Had to patch up parts he had missed through rushing the job. Didn't have the correct tools for plastering round the stairs. Used my ladders. Didn't even have enough covers for the carpet.

Used GR building to re slate my roof. after 3 weeks 2 slates came off. Repeatedly rang and left messages and he finally came back to sort it out after not appearing the first date given. 3 more slates have just come off. Even taking into account the strong winds I find it unacceptable that this can happen. I will not be asking him it sort it this time as I have no confidence he will do the job correctly and have made alternative arrangements.

I sadly have to give the ratings I have. I was chasing for an appointment so Mark & his brother could give a price, which I eventually got. Then I had to chase for a start date. Mark said his daughter was in hospital, which happens. I said I would wait. I asked did he want the job. He said it would be a few weeks. I said I would wait, & wait a & wait etc. I got no response. It was clear they did not want the job. My time was wasted. Sadly I would not reccomend. A case of Cherry picking.

Great job done by the guys at CKJ Construction, from the initial consultation through to the work itself. The job was a combination of pulling up, cleaning, re-laying and pointing tiles around the perimeter of the house as well as removing some bushes, putting down turf and installing new sleepers. All work done to a good standard with attention to detail and at a fair price. Would definitely use again and would recommend for a wide variety of jobs. Thank you!
