Craig got in touch quickly, gave me a rough estimate over the phone and answered all my questions. Surveyor arrived on time, gave instant quote. Price was good. George and his team are experienced builders, replaced my front door with a custom frame/sidelights and raising the floor level in the hallway quite quickly - in fact, they were the only who came next day, gave a quote straightaway and were ready to start in just couple of days. They also had all the necessary tools and materials, were ready to buy something additional quickly on the day - if further adjustments were required to fit everything as I asked. I commissioned Alec Gardner Builder to install an interior Bathroom on the strength of his previous work replacing a soil down pipe. He is such a skilled and talented builder with an acute attention to detail. He constructed an excellent bathroom where I wouldn't have thought it was possible.( He also re felted the roof of a geriatric and tricky shed) I have no hesitation in recommending him for building work.
Paul explained everything he would be doing and timescales involved. He and Michael were very thorough and cleared up during and after the work. We would have no hesitation recommending them and using Paul and Michael for future work in our home.
Well I don't really know where to start. So will start with saying how perfect my new room is. John of Denston Building services converted my garage to a additional lounge. John cleverly also managed to fit in a downstairs toilet. Within 4 weeks the job was done. John was reliable, trustworthy and a pleasure to have around. Ben is a highly competent and reliable builder. He completed our kitchen/garage conversion and bathroom work efficiently and to a great standard. Ours was a complex job with many different components all of which Ben tackled with no complaints, routinely offering practical solutions to any issues that arose which enabled us to retain our look and feel while keeping to budget. With us for nearly 7 weeks, Ben was very friendly at all times and we felt totally happy leaving him alone with keys to the house.

Our garage conversion into 2 rooms was completed on time, to an excellent finish and to the exact budget they quoted. We chose DurdenBuild after a competitive tender process. Mick communicated well and provided a very competitive quote, although not the cheapest.
