So I've been in carpentry since I left school and all other aspects of the building trade. Worked in some beautiful places doing first and second fix carpentry, maintenance and joinery and have good experience in site work private work and construction. I have lots of photos of my work and a full professional 18 volt toolkit so no need for leads trailing all over your property. I'm very polite and hard working and I'm looking to win jobs on here as a way of building my company and gaining clients through reputation. I'm new to this site and I'm willing to put the effort in to get the jobs done right and honestly. Quick reply but the job was not done properly. Screws were not installed correctly and 2 of them were missing the screw heads. I had to call another carpenter to fix it.

John and the team did an outstanding job. It was easy to work with John and he was very knowledgeable, and provided very sensible advice. Other people quoted work which was over-the-top or wouldn't have solved the problem but John got right to the issue in a no-nonsense way. We contacted Mr Bone in April and paid him a 50% deposit (£1000) after he quoted a 5 week lead time. He kept postponing the date until in September we cancelled the job and asked for our money back. Despite receiving £200 he again failed to live up to promises to repay the remainder. We have issued a small claims court order and also a county court judgment against Mr Bone. A very disappointing experience
A friendly man named Darren visited and completed the job . Although the price was reduced from his original quote, for what the job was I still think it was a little overpriced. Nonetheless I was happy with the end result. I will complete the final section and paint the accompanying side door by painting it at a later date.
