20yrs in the trades qualified plumber leaks, drips and blockages no problem all aspects of building works and maintenance considered.
Scheduled to come to my property the next day to fix boiler. Assured me that he would appear. Took me 4 hours by coach to come to my property in London next day only to be told that he could not do it. Very unethical. Cost me £500 per day time off as an IT contractor + £70 national express coach return ticket and waste of time. This guy named Daniel quoted slightly lower than others but I guess you get what you pay for - I would not use sole trader like this next time due to how unprofessional they can be.

A guy called Michael showed up, gave it all the large talk about what he would do. Gave him an address for another project also out of goodwill so he didn’t have to buy another lead. Promised to get back to me despite promising me he would return that week to do the work. Instead just ignored every phone call and message. He kept mentioning about wanting to do it in the evening…. This was impossible as it was a shopfront. Absolutely no balls, AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE!

Nick will probably visit your home within a couple of hours of posting the job (making you feel confident that your job will be finished as quickly as you need it to be) send you links to the materials to be purchased, ask for deposit and then stop all forms of communication. Christian is very argumentative, he does not listen to what the customer wanrmts, he looks for the easiest and cheapest material to do the job, he tells you not to tell his workmen how much he has charged you or he will quit the job.he is an extortionist, he overcharges for material, if you buy your own material, he takes what remaining without asking, he is always in a rush and as a result the job is not completed, you have to hire someone else to complete it. Two problems to resolve, a water leak to my boiler and a water leak from a radiator valve. The water leak to the boiler was diagnosed, and the most cost-effective proposal was a new boiler, i'll take that on face value and get a second opinion. The radiator valve was tightened, which made things worse, loosened, still worse, and left. The leak is now much worse than before, as is the boiler leak. In short, I'm £95 out of pocket and have two problems worse than they were before.

Krzysztof did a great job fitting 2 showers, decorating ensuite, changing all the taps and 2 showers, and doing a number of small fixes and improvements in the flat. I appreciate his clear and detailed communication on job needed, options provided, and consulting on fittings and materials. He finished the job with high quality and with just a small delay despite of a good amount of obstacles (we did painting in parallel). Would definitely recommend Chris's services!
