This is an effective, no-frills, reasonably priced outfit. They replaced my house extension 4mx4m flat roof with a new felt flat roof. I was impressed by the speed of response to my job posting, with a site visit on the same day and the work done a few days later in one day. The workmen were skilled and diligent and produced a good-looking product, clearing up afterwards. I paid the original price quoted, with no additional surprise items. Sharp Roofing & Solar provided a competitive quote following a site visit and fairly detailed inspection. Their communication was good and they kept us informed of changes to the schedule (delays due to rain) and progress. They were punctual and the standard of their work was very good and the finish was professional. They were very friendly and helpful. The only issue was an underestimate of the cost of materials (lead). Otherwise a very good job.

Came out to look at job & quoted me. I text him the following day to accept the quote, he promised to come out end of following week. Didn't turn up, so I hired someone else as job needed doing asap. Not impressed by this company.

Ben, who headed up the work, is a great guy and very credible and professional.Their quote was higher than others, but i went with them because of Ben and his attitude when quoting. However, after the job, my view on his workers who repaired the roof, changed dramatically. I, as a complete novice, had put some alluminim roof repair tape over some cracked tiles...imagine my surprise when i found that the workers ended up doing that too.I think a tile must have cracked when they were fitting them..amateurs!
