After initial assessment I was told it was a two man job who duly arrived in a couple of days with a jetting machine to clear the limescale. They worked very hard to jet the blockage one in the bathroom one outside at the manhole with the jetter. When they were satisfied the soilpipe was clear they inserted a camera so we could all see the there was now no obstruction. They were pleasant and informed me what was happening all the time, I would recommend them to others.

The plumber sent (Tommy) was excellent but this system is double dipping. You already pay Rated People who are supposed to find tradesmen. You then also pay plumbernow to find the tradesman. So the guy that does the work receives a fraction of what you pay. Rated people should NOT be letting similar "job finding" firms to be on site. Essentially requiring Joe public to pay two finder fees.

Connor worked very diligently and seemed to cover all bases. However, at the end, although the water was running out, the drain was still gurgling and he didn't know why. But my real complaint is about the PAYMENT. It was quoted per hour, yet the boss seemed to have decided in advance how many hours it would take, and would have overcharged me by about 35%. Even then, he said I was to be charged for an hour's work when it only took 3/4 hour. And no invoice, so no paper trail . . . So watch your step here

This job involved repairing a broken waste pipeline 6 feet below a manhole cover and carrying out a CCTV survey. Alastair fitted me in quickly and he completed the job very efficiently. He even offered to come round a few days later to check that all was well! The cost of the work was very competitive and I would definitely use Alastair again.

I want to express my disappointment with Charles from JnC Groundworks. I had written the review with the promise that he would return the following Monday to remove all leftover materials (which was part of the contract). This did not happen. Someone arrived over 2 months later to clear the leftovers but still left 2 pallets on my front lawn! This pitiful attempt to clear the leftovers only happened after many emails and phone calls, which he tried to ignore! DON'T pay until the job is FULLY completed!!
