Bathroom work- I had a disappointing experience with this builder. Within just 1 yr of completing th work, we had 4 separate water leaks, resulting in thousands of pounds in damage. Th quality of materials used was subpar. On escalating these issues & asking for compensation, th builder simply told us to file it in court rather than taking responsibility for th problems. I would strongly advise anyone to stay away from choosing this builder. We expected much better materials, workmanship & accountability.

I couldn’t be happier with the service provided by Light Electrics! From start to finish, they were professional, efficient, and incredibly skilled. I recently had a new electric oven and hob installed, which also required sorting out the junction box and safely removing the old gas oven, hob, and gas piping. So I've been in carpentry since I left school and all other aspects of the building trade. Worked in some beautiful places doing first and second fix carpentry, maintenance and joinery and have good experience in site work private work and construction. Quick reply but the job was not done properly. Screws were not installed correctly and 2 of them were missing the screw heads. I had to call another carpenter to fix it.

Boyd completely redecorated the house before we moved in. He is very conscientious and all round great professional with very high standards. He repaired some of the window frames before painting repaired some of the walls which were pockmarked with numerous holes and damaged with badly applied wall paper. The walls the windows and the doors look like new. Definitely recommend and will reuse. Great painter and decorator and an all round handy man.

Darren was great, he fixed all the mistakes I had made attempting to put together my sideboard and was efficient. The sideboard was quite tricky but Darren was able to put it together in just over 2 hours, and was knowledgable and happy to help. Would 100% use again.

The quote I received was considerably lower than other quotes, (although other quoteds were for bespoke wooden wardrobes built from scratch). The product provided exceeded my expectations, and represents good value. The job was completed on the days agreed and in a quick and professional manner. I am delighted with the new wardrobes, and would have no problem reccomending the firm. They need to sort our t a few gremlins with their website, but I know this is ongoing.
