Liam was a really nice guy he hung 5 doors and replaced all the skirting in 3 of our bedrooms. The work was carried out to a good standard. Liam was asked to have a look at our creaking stairs while he was there and was kind enough to fix this at the same time free of charge. Liam's number has been saved in my phone and he will be my first call should I need any form of joinery in the near future. Also left the place nice and tidy finished on time. Excellent communication, really good value, the quote was very reasonable - replacing 3 blown double glazed units. Simon was extremely personable, very reliable and did a fantastic quality job. He was also able to pull in another job and quote at the same time to replace 3 blown double units in my Mum's conservatory. I would definitely go back o Guilford Windows for any further work and have already recommended his services to both my Auntie and my father-in-law.

We had a new conservatory installed and needed the base tiling. I used rated people to advertise the job and GPC came in first with a fair price. They arrived dead on time and they did a high precision job. The positioning of the tiles is geometrically perfect and completely level. They left the site clean and tidy too. Highly recommended.

Tom was able to come to us two days after we made contact and did an excellent job at cutting and bevelling our stone work top. His price was very reasonable. He did an excellent job and the stone worktops look like new. He was very professional and courteous. I would definitely recommend him to others and be very happy to hire him again.

It is unfair for me to put 'Poor' but there is not an appropriate 'option' choice in your list to explain what happened. I have no idea what his work is like as there was a misunderstanding about when he was supposed to come, and eventually I had to cancel the job.

I had initial doubts about using this website to find good tradesmen. But DIR Solutions have changed my mind. communication was excellent and they were able to complete the task and exceed my expectations. This was a very difficult task and will be calling on them regularly to do other jobs in the future. It is a pity that i am unable to post before and after photos of this job on this website. Thanks to this company, I can now access a portion of my garden that was totally swamped by errant thorn bushes..
