Excellent tradesman and on time, knowledgeable in his trade and did a few extra little jobs that he wasnt earmarked to do. Employed Lee again to do some extra roof work , would I recommend him? Yes no hesitation

Ben, who headed up the work, is a great guy and very credible and professional.Their quote was higher than others, but i went with them because of Ben and his attitude when quoting. However, after the job, my view on his workers who repaired the roof, changed dramatically. I, as a complete novice, had put some alluminim roof repair tape over some cracked tiles...imagine my surprise when i found that the workers ended up doing that too.I think a tile must have cracked when they were fitting them..amateurs!

SMK & Son responded to my call for a badly leaking roof, immediately. It turned out to be very serious and in the end they replaced the whole roof in awful weather. They organised everything very professionally. Cannot fault them. HIGHLY recommended. Do not hesitate to use them.

Excellent job, friendly & hardworking boys cleaned up daily. On the final day every little bit of rubbish was taken away. Highly recommend Kevin & the boys to anybody wanting a new roof or roofing work which would be to a very high standard and at a competitive price. 5 star service from start to finish. This is an effective, no-frills, reasonably priced outfit. They replaced my house extension 4mx4m flat roof with a new felt flat roof. I was impressed by the speed of response to my job posting, with a site visit on the same day and the work done a few days later in one day. The workmen were skilled and diligent and produced a good-looking product, clearing up afterwards. I paid the original price quoted, with no additional surprise items. No problems have arisen in the week since, despite storms.

A totally wasted exercise asking David to do the job. He responded quickly to visit, assess and offer a pricing. Gave exact date for starting the job and then drifted off without any updates On chasing complained he'd been let down,wanted money - pithy excuses. Not to be trusted

A garden wall needed repairing at an awkward junction with a neighbour's wall, where our coping stones had come loose and the blocks crumbled. Adam picked up the job promptly and turned up, with a colleague, the next day to complete the repair. The wall is now secure and looks neater. The work was carried out efficiently and they left the area clean and tidy.

Chris did a great job on my flat roof; replacing the old felt roof for a new GRP fibre glass one, including replacing all the boards, facias and guttering. He is reliable and will explain anything you want to know about the job. He is very organised, works hard and tidies up afterwards.

I employed Simon to do extensive painting of my garden furniture and fences during the summer. He also kindly helped me with some carpentry work in the garden and some jobs indoors. He arrived on time each day or let me know if there would be a delay and why, the work he undertook was meticulous and he always cleared up before he left each evening and joy of joys no radio blaring! I cannot speak too highly of his conduct and willingness throughout and can strongly recommend him.

Pip is an excellent all rounder but is inclined to spend too much time on tasks if not supervised, which can be costly if employed on a day rate. In my experience, Pip should make more effort to separate his tools from others in order to avoid confusion of ownership.
