He gives good prices, but in the end leaves you hanging. Luke replastered the whole house, but some of the work was sloppy. My living room wall is still covered with bumps, which he was supposed to fix before his dad redecorated. His dad painted right over them. This is just one of several problems. So then Luke asked for an early payment and that he would sort all the problems I raised and until then I can hold off 100 pounds. He has since buggered off. I call him, I now get voice mail. Excellent work and service on waterproofing a flat roof balcony, that was botched by the original installers and leaking into a room below. Although a small job compared with their commercial projects, the work was personally supervised by Robert, one of the owners who kept in touch during the work. He and his team were diligent and friendly, a pleasure to work with. Reinstating decking over the flat roof was not straight forward and they willingly put in extra time to get that right. Happily recommended

Used GR building to re slate my roof. after 3 weeks 2 slates came off. Repeatedly rang and left messages and he finally came back to sort it out after not appearing the first date given. 3 more slates have just come off. Even taking into account the strong winds I find it unacceptable that this can happen. I will not be asking him it sort it this time as I have no confidence he will do the job correctly and have made alternative arrangements.

Billie came and looked at the problems we were having with our chimney and gave some sound advice along with his quote to fix them. He came back when we agreed and did a really neat job and so far no more leaks around the chimney. Overall job well done.

James said that he didn`t have much work on so he could come and have a look at my roof problem the following day.He said that he would phone when he was on his way.Didn`t phone,didn`t show up,didn`t answer his phone when i called,didn`t reply to my messages.Little wonder that he doesn`t have much work on.Waited around for him for several hours.......Time waster.......minus 5 stars( although i have to give 1 star to submit my comments )

very poor work. damaged the felt that was already installed, and roof is still leaking. very poor communication.
Job didn't last long, started leaking again when it rained heavy. wasted money. Another company looked at the chimney and flat roof and politely described the job as done by cons, using this site to get quick cash from urgent jobs, which if not done professionally costs more in the long run. The banter is part of the deception.
