Daniel and the guys at Belford are very friendly and knowledgeable. They did a great job converting my garage to a usable space for music and cinema plus an extra toilet. I use the room most days. Definitely would recommend and the price was very competitive.

In October, quoted £800 to level and turf 80 sqm. Left the soil to harden. He came in April and remeasured. This time, it magically increased to 96 sqm and wanted £960. After completing without any levelling, there was still an area left. When asked to lay the excess turf in the truck, said it is for another customer and left. When I measured the turfed area, it came to 81 sqm. Contacted him to return the 15 sqm, wants another £200. Now asking not to contact, so leaving this feedback. Untrustworthy workman.

Jon wasn't very polite when he contacted me, I didn't understand where he said he had purchased the job. He explained, I then asked for a quote, initially I accepted but then had something come up where I had to put the job on hold. He then rang me and hurled unpleasant comments at me for not letting him know when I did email him saying I had to cancel the job. Not very polite when communicating on the phone. Sorry for rubbish review but not made me feel like I want him to come to my house for any job!

There would have been no point in complaining directly. You had made it clear you had other work. I was asked by Rated People for my views and I gave them. How unfair or not is entirely subjective. As the potential customer, surely my views should be accepted and taken into account by your business be them good or bad. I do not propose to continue with this email thread.
