Adam responded really quickly to my posting, although I didn't go ahead with the original job I posted I did ask him to carry out another job. He did a great job redecorating a studio apartment with some repairs to the ceiling from an old leak. The place looked as good as new by the time he finished! He worked with such care and left the place spotless. I will hire him again for future jobs and recommend him to anyone.

Hired to sand, fill, prime and paint a front door, and surrounding wood work. Did a very poor job I am afraid. Not sanded back or filled well (filler not made good, lumpy). Not primed. Looks like painted with treacle. Drips everywhere, matt patches, marks on adjoining white paintwork. I paid almost 30% of agreed price (£350) to cover time and materials but to be fair I really shouldn't have even paid that as the whole job needs to be done again. Shame as Harry is a pleasant guy but just not skilled.

Beware these people are not professional or painters. On two occassions they turned up 2 hours late then said they needed to go straight back out again for coffee and food. They never laid dust sheets and the furniture, and floor was covered in emulsion. Lee had an injured hand, i had made clear I didnt want him back, came back a 2nd time. He broke the pot out of my slow cooker.They stayed 4 hours and only did a fraction of my lounge. I offerered a drink , and they asked for beer after seeing I had some.
