****Builders from hell- Stay well away *** Robbed me of 70K left my house in a totally destroyed state and an open roof. Used constant threats to extort money. The little work that was carried out, no building control approval was sought and work done was substandard and had to be redone. Left the work once I informed building control and declined to return back, comply with inspection, rectify the work or provide any refund despite providing a work evaluation by an independent quantity surveyor.

I’m a fully qualified plumber and drainage engineer with over 10 years’ experience in the trade. After completing my plumbing certification, I spent 6 years working as a drainage engineer, specialising in unblocking and repairing drainage systems, using CCTV equipment to identify defects, and providing detailed reports for customers. I’ve also installed UPVC drainage systems and septic tanks, giving me a wealth of experience in both domestic and commercial drainage work. Since 2020, I’ve expanded into the building sector, working on a range of projects including excavating footings, setting out for concrete, installing windows and doors, plasterboarding, and fitting bathrooms. I’ve also been involved in kitchen installations, flooring, and patio laying, with my main focus being plumbing, drainage, and groundworks. It was good that Josh came out to check exactly what I wanted and that it was possible, I then received a written quote which was competitive. The work was carried out next day and done to a really high standard.
