I was a site manager for 10yrs now semi retired and doing customer care maintenance. I am knowledgeable in all areas of building works. I now re trained and now offer Venetian Plastering and looking at only offering this service.
George Bancroft and his team-mate Jimmy did an excellent job. Installed new gate-posts and re-hung heavy driveway gates. Gates now hang much better and close-up together better than they have for years. George and Jimmy worked hard and with good will, the price was right, and I have no hesitation in recommending them.

Marius sanded back the floor to the original oak finish across the whole of the downstairs. It completely transformed the floor, was meticulously sanded and beautifully finished. Overall Paul and his team did a great job, the workmanship is acceptable, and the team were friendly, helpful and open to discuss what they were doing. However; it often felt like my job was being juggled with other more important jobs, I’ve been asked by subsequent trades how it took over a year to complete a job that should have taken a few months. There are several issues that Paul has refused to rectify, the roof leaks (which has just cost me £7k to replace). Overall I’m disappointed in the service.
