Good job done, no mention of extra charge despite job taking longer than anticipated. Cleaned up after himself and stayed until 7.20 to get the job done same day. Came a day later than initially agreed but wasn't a problem at our end and he gave me a text to let me know well in advance that he had been delayed at a previous job.

Dave carried out our block paving job on our driveway. Extended our existing drive and built a fence to make the border with our neighbours garden. Dave gave us a very competitive quote and was very polite and knowledgeable. The job did take longer than expected to finish but that was down to bad weather. The work was done well and he even picked up a few things from B&Q for me. Unfortunately when he plumbed in the sink he plumbed the the hot water to the cold tap and vice versa. Also, he left a saw mark in my Ercol kitchen table with a bit of his blood which he never told me about. But then neither did I. All things considered I would hire the man again and have no issue recommending him for other jobs.

Handyman, most aspects of work undertaken
Came to fit a new shower tray and enclosure 19/12 and fit a lintel over a fire which was done well.However the shower we found 2 days after, due to waiting for sealant to dry, is unusable as the water does not drain away and floods the floor, also the tiles they put on around the shower fell off the wall as they were not stuck on properly before grout. I had paid them the day the job was done .I asked Paul to rectify it and he said he would on 31/12,then didn't attend & told me to get another plumber !

AVOID. Job: Replace leaky leaky asbestos garage roof, replace garage door, increase roof height, board the interior and fit electrics for lighting and power points. Hired as seemed like a nice guy, was helpful during the quoting process. However job is a disaster. Waste of £4k - Garage roof leaks - Walls leak - Boarding basically thick cardboard and now soggy - Garage door won't close - Screws poking out everywhere - Unsafe for electrics Not responding to my texts or answering my calls.

Billie came and looked at the problems we were having with our chimney and gave some sound advice along with his quote to fix them. He came back when we agreed and did a really neat job and so far no more leaks around the chimney. Overall job well done.
