He made a very challenging job look easy and did some extra things for me that weren’t included in the quote, without charging extra. When they called me I explained previously what was carried out such as the radiators was bleeded and balanced they came out couldn't fix the problem and couldn't explain and charge me a £120 pounds which I am still no father forward I would definitely not recommend I don't mind paying if the job was done and I could see any progress I am so disappointed

Updated review for 2024: Hired Mark to plaster my hallway and stairs. The stairs and ceiling are okay but the hallway is shoddy workmanship which is uneven and has trowel marks in it. Mark has unfotuntely refused to come back and told me I am just 'making a fuss'. I feel like he got his money so, now isn't interested in doing the decent thing - shame on you Mark. DO NOT HIRE IF YOU WANT A SMOOTH FINISH!

So I've been in carpentry since I left school and all other aspects of the building trade. Worked in some beautiful places doing first and second fix carpentry, maintenance and joinery and have good experience in site work private work and construction. I have lots of photos of my work and a full professional 18 volt toolkit so no need for leads trailing all over your property. Quick reply but the job was not done properly. Screws were not installed correctly and 2 of them were missing the screw heads. I had to call another carpenter to fix it.

Time needs to be spent working on preparation. The positioning (layout) of the tiles is very important. Tiling is all about aesthetics & balance. Its worth knowing that we can provide a complete bathroom service, including plumbing and Electrical work. Please note that I have public liability insurance. Please also note that when purchasing tiles you must buy an extra 10%. This is to allow for cuts & wastage. Waste disposal is the responsibility of the customer unless otherwise agreed prior to the job being undertaken. Further details can be provided on request. Please remember, there are certain things you should/should not do in tiling. We do not cut corners. We, at times, have had to turn down jobs where customers want me to tile unstable or unsuitable surfaces. You will notice that VAT is not included in the pricing. We have had multiple trades on site and he was able to work alongside them. We also made a change in our tile choice in one room last minute and he was patient and reasonable about this.
