We had just had a bad experience with another builder and were weary of tradesmen but Maurize was trustworthy from the get go and went out of his way to fill us with confidence. The work was for my elderly mother but was being organised and paid for by me and I live in france. Not the easiest of arrangements for the electrician but he coped well. My trees are now nicely cut back and a good shape, so the job was good in that respect. However, my garden has been left in a terrible state - plants trampled, pots knocked over, a solar light & wooden trellis broken, bits of branch and log scattered around the garden, wood chips everywhere. Horrible. It took them SO long to do the job (7 hours) that it was getting dark when they left so I couldn't see the full impact. I will have to get a gardener to fix it. Beechwood's cheap quote was a bad false economy.

Aaron and the team of 2 did a great job of pruning our cherry tree and it now has a nice shape. They also removed a fir tree at the same time, including root which we were also delighted with. Very efficient, just got on with it, no faffing about and very tidy. I did 4 stars rather than 5 for reliability because they didn't come in the end on the day we arranged and only let me know about 1hr before. Every company can have an off day so we rearranged and they then came as agreed. Very happy with result.

Mark fixed a storage heater for me, he wanted to be paid in cash. I asked him to bring an invoice / receipt with him. He didn't. He promised me he'd send one when he got home. I have asked him on 4 separate occasions to provide me with a receipt for the work and have been promised one on each occasion. If you do need a receipt, I would suggest not using this electrician, other than that he did do the work for the money quoted.

Nabeel and his team were excellent from the outset. They were clear in what service we should expect, nothing was too much of a problem, they made recommendations and offered solutions. We were introduced to our team of builders and the project manager. It sounded almost too good to be true, but they have over-delivered on all their promises. Spent about 2hours to do the job. Checking gas supply first before cutting pipe,adding a section of pipe and gas key. Then removed old gas cooker outside and connected new cooker and chain, then explained the controls. Make sure you get a new rubber cooker connector if required. No idea if expensive or not £150. Would recommend.

A few weeks after the repair the first problem occurred, I called them but they wanted to charge me a call out fee of £49.00 to have a look at it after I paid £150.00 to have it repaired. I refused thus called a different locksmith who noted that the cylinder was too short for the new lock and page security should have known this and changed it while fitting the new lock. Now I have a temperamental lock that works 1/20 called them again and was told I have to pay £49.00 to have someone look at it.

The carpenter did come across obstacles which were new to him but this was due to the job not being straight forward and parts were tricky due to a brick hearth and a spiral staircase both to have wood flooring fitted around.
