Karl was a nice guy, came up with a reasonable quote and worked through some modifications to the quote, however, I was unable to hire him as he refused to have any kind of written agreement / contract confirming the terms of the work. It’s a shame, because I wanted to work with Karl but wasn’t willing to spend so much money with nothing specific in writing.

He spent extra time to correct the pipe problem caused the leak before the installation. The finish was very neat and pleasant. Using this person was the biggest mistake I ever made, he came to my house and promised me the earth Telling me how good he was and how good of a job he would do He told me he would rub down the walls and fill holes he didn’t he got gloss paint on my carpet going round the skirting boards and up the stairs and on the landing he got green paint from the alcoves on door frames on the other side of the room he splashed paint over three varnished doors and gloss on a carpet that was replaced at a cost to me
