Used to own timber treats floor restoration before a misdiagnosis made me sell.

So I've been in carpentry since I left school and all other aspects of the building trade. Worked in some beautiful places doing first and second fix carpentry, maintenance and joinery and have good experience in site work private work and construction. I have lots of photos of my work and a full professional 18 volt toolkit so no need for leads trailing all over your property. I'm very polite and hard working and I'm looking to win jobs on here as a way of building my company and gaining clients through reputation. I'm new to this site and I'm willing to put the effort in to get the jobs done right and honestly. Quick reply but the job was not done properly. Screws were not installed correctly and 2 of them were missing the screw heads. I had to call another carpenter to fix it.

!! Highly recommended !! 5 star rating given for an excellent transformation of my hallway, stairs and landing, which required all walls to be skimmed and sanded prior to paintwork due to the poor condition of the walls when paper was removed. Spyros always arrived before start time, would stay longer when necessary if in the middle of a specific part of the job, cleared away all debris each day, vacuumed thoroughly and kept me fully informed of the additional costs incurred (skim/sand). DB Building Conservation specialises in the use of lime plasters for the repair of listed and period buildings. We are period property experts. We have extensive experience of lime plastering, render and traditional materials such as lath and plaster and wattle and daub. We also undertake repointing and wall repairs with flint and clunch. I have an MSc in Building Conservation and can advise on many aspects of the care and renewal of traditional buildings whether listed or not. Issues such as damp and insulation in old properties are a speciality. We can also recommend and liaise with other tradespeople who are qualified to repair historic timber, brick and stone. We have a detailed knowledge of regulations as they apply to Listed Buildings and have long experience of guiding owners through the process of obtaining listed building consent. Dan did such a great job with our 17th century lime wall. Painstakingly removing the modern repair without damaging the surrounding plaster and then re-lathing and finishing with lime plaster. You can hardly see where the repair is even though we didn't skim the whole wall to preserve wall paintings. Very clean and tidy and I wouldn't hesitate to use him again, highly recommended.

Shane was really helpful in giving us different ideas of what we could have with our windows, fascia and soffets. The price he quoted was far better than other companies and the work was done on time. He also did the little extras that would not normally get done.
