Gave me a quote, then changed saying i had told him i wanted the tiles taken down & replacing with cladding. Asked a few times for money upfront. Still waiting for an invoice & guarentee . Again asked a number of times but it's a no show. Didnt turn up a couple of times. Making the very unreliable. Looking for new builder now to do the back

DO NOT HIRE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES The owner of this company will promise you so much and then some, he speaks so fast you can't get a word in edge ways, which means when he leaves after doing some work you are left with your mouth wide open wondering what just happened! Although some jobs were completed, there are an awful lot more that weren't, he has walked away taking with him literally thousands of pounds with him

Had a visit from A1 Gardening today and was very pleased with the service I received. The staff were polite and attentive at all times. This company did not finish job, left huge mess, did damage. Grossly overcharged, left misspelt invoice. 2 hours after doing half day instead of full, man rang me demanding his money "as needed to buy materials for next job" - but only 1/2 did mine. I did not pay £670 he again demanded for FIVE HOURS. He also "mislaid" my summerhouse key, new lock now installed after 38 years of use of "lost" one. He is untrustworthy and frightened disabled 83 year old widow. He should be struck off your list.
