I hired Lorring Group Ltd to install an aluminum garden gate and paid a 50% deposit upfront as per their invoice . Unfortunately, the work was never carried out, and despite numerous attempts to contact them, I have received no resolution or refund for the deposit. The lack of communication and failure to honor their commitment has been incredibly disappointing. As a customer, I trusted them to deliver the service agreed upon, but instead, I have been left out of pocket. I cannot recommend this company.

sadly did a very bad job on a simple shelf job. A nail Went through the wall, he dropped something resulting in skirting board damage, shelves were wonky, shelves had massive nails in creating holes that were far too big for the wall, nails falling out of the massive holes. Still wasn’t fixed despite getting him back again for a 2nd visit. We managed to get £60 of the £260 back but never got a ‘sorry’. Have had a professional round now to fix everything but there are still holes in the wall you can see.

AVOID AT ALL COST and it is the right company. Don’t pay him or his partner Nick Moules any money. Nick will probably visit your home within a couple of hours of posting the job (making you feel confident that your job will be finished as quickly as you need it to be) send you links to the materials to be purchased, ask for deposit and then stop all forms of communication. They will quote +/- £20 to the other tradesmen. Should be banned on this site.

I cannot recommend Grigore and his team highly enough. Hollands Contractors were great, easy to deal with and acted professionally throughout. Job was probably not a standard one but chatting through with Kieren what was required on initial site visit , the estimate was fair and arrived promptly . Through to start date Kieren also kept in contact which was appreciated. Job was completed within agreed time frame and to the expected standard. Kieren arrived on time each day and worked hard and would happily recommend.

Pros: 1) very responsive over text; 2) good price; 3) majority of fencing work was carried out to a high standard. Cons: 1) turned up very late on start day; 2) did not remove rubbish; 3) did not clean before they left (new patio was filthy); 4) used materials I had purchased for other jobs to complete their job; 5) quality of rendering on a small area of external wall was awful; 6) insistently pestered for payment having been slow at providing payment information (which we had to request from them).
