George and his team are experienced builders, replaced my front door with a custom frame/sidelights and raising the floor level in the hallway quite quickly - in fact, they were the only who came next day, gave a quote straightaway and were ready to start in just couple of days. They also had all the necessary tools and materials, were ready to buy something additional quickly on the day - if further adjustments were required to fit everything as I asked. Tom was not hired on this occasion for my posted job. I tried to remove/close the job post, but a glitch means I can not do so. I can only place a rating. It would be unfair to rate Tom as anything less than 5 stars as he did communicate a quote but wanted 50% up front. If I had not found a tradesman with immediate availability, it may well have worked out differently.

Needed my old slab and tarmac driveway replacing. Put out a job request and Steve at midland construction came to quote. Decided his was the best company to do the job and he knew what I wanted. The work was carried out over 4 days,his two men worked very hard removing and preparing for the pour of concrete, which was carried out over two days,they worked tidily and finished the job on time,very pleased with the work carried out.

PVGO Services built us the most wonderful deck and pergola of superb quality. Their craftsmanship and attention to detail cannot be faulted. Paul and Adam are unfailingly reliable and just the nicest guys you could hope to meet. Nothing was too much trouble, and they suggested finishes and touches that we would never have thought of. I got Geeson builders to repoint my stone walls and replace quite a few stones that had perished. The work they did was excellent!! I actually can't believe how good it looks and the difference it has made to my house. I would highly recommend them. I will be ringing them first for any jobs I have in the future.
Poor work. Chemfix wasn't mixed properly for gallows brackets and didn't set for over a week. The joiner didn't even know which joists required additional strength and I had to tell him what to do. Would not recommend.
