George and his team are experienced builders, replaced my front door with a custom frame/sidelights and raising the floor level in the hallway quite quickly - in fact, they were the only who came next day, gave a quote straightaway and were ready to start in just couple of days. They also had all the necessary tools and materials, were ready to buy something additional quickly on the day - if further adjustments were required to fit everything as I asked. What started out as a straight forward base, became more complicated with the discovery of unforeseen ground issues which delayed the project by a number of weeks. Family run business. Have been a bricklayer for 30 years and now my son has followed in my foot steps. I have always been proud of my work especially conservation. I have recently joined rated people because I have had enough of the site work and feel its time to slow down and offer my experience to private work. I have done private work in the past and always ensured works were completed on time,at a reasonable rate and took pride in my work. I am a registered company and can be found on company house. Complicated foundations, both in depth and location. 36 pile foundations at a depth of 9 meters. Wow. These guys have worked so hard to get our job finished on time. They have built a retaining wall in our garden with deep foundations, drainage and rendered to a lovely finish. They have cleared the site and completed the job to an excellent standard. They have been polite and helpful, going the extra mile and taking the initiative to solve problems as they arose. Took time to find out exactly what we wanted, drew up and agreed the plans for the the local authority accordingly and provided detailed costings. Provided realistic timetable & started on agreed date.Were clean and tidy workers, aware we still had to live whilst they were working. Any issues were discussed as they occurred and resolved. Finished in timescale.Also helped reduce costs. Excellent work and workers, really pleased with the new extension and patio, on budget and all certification received.

I primarily work on all aspects of kitchen and bathroom fitting from fitting to services. However I have a long history of multi-trade work having completed high spec extensions throughout the years, no job is too small. I carry out property maintenance which involve carpentry plumbing and electrics as well as refurbishments all within the latest regulations.

After I posted my enquiry, Lawrence phoned me within half an hour. We discussed the job, he gave me a price , and I accepted it later. He did the job to our complete satisfaction, 3 days later, arriving at 8.00am. He laid a new laminate floor in a small conservatory, and took up and laid a new floor in the kitchen. It was wet and he had to walk from the house to the outside garage to do the cutting. He kept to his quote, but I gave him extra for the awkward door threshold strips. Definitely recommended.
