Over all, an excellent job was done although due to poor weather, a three day job became a three week one. Several unseen problems became apparent during this work, but everything was explained and reasons given for delays / further expense. Time keeping wasn’t great as on many occasions they’d arrive after 09:00 and would have gone by 16:00 at the latest. However, very satisfied with the result.

Peter has many years experience in the building trade. This knowledge helped at each stage of my project. The quote was a fixed price. During the work several issues cropped up that neither of us could have predicted but Peter was extremely flexible and honest at resolving these at no extra cost. Quick reply but the job was not done properly. Screws were not installed correctly and 2 of them were missing the screw heads. I had to call another carpenter to fix it.

I apologise for not having posted a rating before now. I thought I had already done so. Our loft conversion has transformed how we live.The cost was fair. The work was carried out to a good standard, quickly and tidily with minimum disruption. We are happy with the result. The "Boys" were friendly and easy to have about and full of good advice. I would use Roy again and have already recommended to others.
