Shah was so reliable, experienced and polite. He made suggestions that helped us without pressuring us into anything or imposing on us. The work was all carried out as agreed quickly and he worked long days to get it all done. The changes we made were added onto our bill at the end and were far lower than I had been expecting. Hired Ovidiu to tile out kitchen , utility room and downstairs toilet. He did a fantastic job in just two days. He is a tidy considerate person who completed the job to a very high standard. I would highly recommend.

Tony was fantastic stepping in at short notice after being let down by another tradesman. He replaced our old bathroom suite and put plastic cladding on the walls and ceiling fitted new lino and other jobs that came up. I would highly recommend him super friendly guy and fantastic workmanship. Would definitely give him a call for future jobs.
Very professional and pleasant to deal with. Turned up as arranged and completed the job there and then to a high standard. As a customer of Rated People do not be tempted to over-price your job as the tradesmen get charged according to the budget you set, which for a small job can be a large percentage of the price you pay him.

Stuart Williams is an excellent heating engineer & plumber. We have recently bought a property in Kendal and did not know any local tradesmen or have any recommendations. I found Abm plumbing on Rated People and contacted Stuart. On chatting with him he also provided contact details for other tradesmen we needed and we had a site meeting at the property to discuss the various works required. On a job to install a shower, went that extra mile to also fit a support for the shower curtain rail for no extra charge - and the charge for the job-proper was very reasonable too. So I've been in carpentry since I left school and all other aspects of the building trade. Worked in some beautiful places doing first and second fix carpentry, maintenance and joinery and have good experience in site work private work and construction. I have lots of photos of my work and a full professional 18 volt toolkit so no need for leads trailing all over your property.
