****Builders from hell- Stay well away *** Robbed me of 70K left my house in a totally destroyed state and an open roof. Used constant threats to extort money. The little work that was carried out, no building control approval was sought and work done was substandard and had to be redone. Left the work once I informed building control and declined to return back, comply with inspection, rectify the work or provide any refund despite providing a work evaluation by an independent quantity surveyor.

Hi, I'm Gary Korab, and I'm a fully trained carpenter/joiner, and locksmith, with 25 years experience. I have completed the level 3 Advanced Modern Apprenticeship at college, along with the City & Guilds awards and many other certificates. I do still work in the carpentry and joinery trade, but I'm slowly merging my business to focus just on the locksmithing trade, and emergency boarding services. This includes fixing windows, doors, etc. Upvc, steel, and timber are all included. Breaking locks, lock replacement or repair, mechanism replacement or repair, handle replacement or repair, espagnolette replacement or repair, and adjusting window openers and doors that don't open well anymore, or not at all. Most of the time the window or door will just need adjusting, and I also offer a full service as well, which keeps your windows and doors working well for longer. Emergency boarding includes windows that have been damaged, or the glass smashed/missing, and doors that have been damaged, or the glass smashed/missing. Tony and his sons came to us to do a fairly small renovation. By the time we had finished adding things on to their list they were with us for over 2 weeks. They took changes in their stride, with good humour and also suggested ways we could save time and money whilst still achieving the look we wanted. And most importantly they were hard working, trustworthy and clean - tidying and wiping down every night before they left. We were so impressed, we have now asked Tony to build our extension.
