I have had a very bad experience with an employee of Selco Roofing, who introduced himself as "Jimmy". He turned out to be unreliable and disrespectful, making appointments and not keeping them TWICE, not responding to text messages, making me wait for days. When he finally resurfaced, I refused his services, so I am still looking for a tradesman.

We were really happy with the work these guys did - repairing a damaged door, re-fitting it, sourcing and fitting a side panel on a bath and a couple of other smaller jobs. Quick, efficient and friendly. And they left everywhere tidy.

Avoid A1 Trading at all costs, he did an extremely poor job on relaying my kitchen roof. A bread and butter job for any decent builder but this one couldn’t seem to grasp the basics. Poor quality of workmanship means I still have a leaky roof. He also lied about forwarding the receipt by saying he would email it to me but now he now won’t answer my texts or return my calls so he’s also done a runner. I’m retired in my 70’s and view this ‘tradesperson’ like a criminal, A1 Trading deserves 0 stars.

In 2022, Sonny did an excellent job repairing the roof. In 2023, his team replaced the entire roof and the shed roof, sealed an area of flat roof, replaced guttering and down pipes, and repainted the outside of the windows. Despite the dust, they were a pleasure to have around!
