The best decision I made was going to rated people site for a tradespersons. Kevin contacted me after I posted the job. He came to see what needed done and we agreed price etc. Everything was done according to timelines and price. There were no surprises as sometimes happens with other contractors. He also arranged scaffolding and coordinated a plumber to run new drainage to allow the relocation of the kitchen and bathroom.
