I am a handy man working out of High Wycombe. I trained and worked as a sheet metal worker and steel fabricator for 10 years and then as a metal artist for 12 years and have now given up my workshop to do handyman work. I really enjoy gardening, landscaping, painting and basic carpentry. My recent jobs include, resin bound paving, building garden beds, gardening, soil cultivation, house and garden clearing and paining.

Absolutely horrific experience. No quote was formally given beforehand. Ali refused to give a price/estimate for the works, he just said he would fix the leak at a “reasonable” price then the bill came to £600. My newly fitted bath panel got damaged during the repair works. Then after a few weeks a leak was spotted again in the same area which resulted in water damage to the newly renovated ceiling. Thousands of pounds went down the drain. Highly unprofessional and wouldn’t recommend them.

Homecraft UK Ltd were of no help with general gardening by their own admission although that was what I had requested. However they did contract to clean, repair and renew the guttering and replace and fix any broken and missing roof tiles. This they did with great thoroughness and attention to detail, and made a really good job, although I thought the price was high. Having said that, they went the extra mile to ensure a good job.

Tim and Adam arrived bang on time at 7:30 am. Very friendly and did exactly what we had agreed beforehand. He actually gave me a small reduction on the quoted price as he didn't use all the material he had quoted for. The job took longer than Tim had anticipated (some tricky carpentry required) but they worked on through to complete it in one day, as promised. They also cleared up nicely at the end and took away all the debris. Our summer house should now last another 20 years at least!
