So I've been in carpentry since I left school and all other aspects of the building trade. Old door removed and new oak door and frame installed. Matt worked tirelessly so deserves a good rating and is recommended. However issues have came to light: bolt placement for the frame and surrounding trim was haphazard; some screws securing hardware were of different sizes, with one broken off completely; frame could have been installed using boards thus not later needing screws drilled through frame from the inside. Outer trim and architrave would have then been supported; currently redoing architrave

Shoddy work- attached expensive beading with metal pins using a gun (not glued). Job done in minutes to save him time, instead of glueing. Even that is not attached to wall properly ! Looks disgusting. Have to pay for it to be redone. Asks for more money above agreed quote.
