Despite assuring me that he understood how to prune an apple tree, once the work started, it became very clear that William and his helper had no idea. I ended up with the tree a good outline shape but no effort had been made to reduce overlapping branches etc. that an experienced person would have been done. Smith and sons provided us with an excellent service. They brought the tree down to size under great control, tackled autumn leaves and left our front lawn looking great again. Very gentle and caring too. When you do a good job with such great attitude, repeat business is guaranteed.
