Hi, my name is John Benham and I work under the wood doctor. I have been a fully qualified carpenter for exactly 29years. I served my apprenticeship at the unicorn gate college at Portsmouth dockyard. Carpentry runs in the family as my father & grandfather were carpenters. Initially I was only going to have Decking done in my garden. After Andrew came and saw my garden he gave me a different idea and provided with me a scatch of paving and deck to transform my garden into some thing different. After he has done this it looks so nice. He transformed my garden completely. He is a very hard working gentleman. Very reasonable with price and very sincere perfect and honest.While he was working I decided to have fencing done as well. Andrew has become like a family member to us. We are very happy with the completion of the porch project. Nicholas and Ben were very helpful throughout the entire project suggesting some tweaks and changes that enhanced the overall project. They were particularly helpful when it came to selecting the timber as we originally wanted dried oak. The oak was particularly poor quality (Nicholas sent us images from the timber merchants) and advised us to go with Douglas Fir. They were very tidy and cleared up at the end of each day. Would highly recommend.
