Hi, my name is John Benham and I work under the wood doctor.
I have been a fully qualified carpenter for exactly 29years.
I served my apprenticeship at the unicorn gate college at Portsmouth dockyard. Carpentry runs in the family as my father & grandfather were carpenters. I am an old school type of carpenter, extremely reliable & punctual.i am very experienced in all problem solving involving carpentry.
I am more about word by mouth than glossy websites !. Look forward to meeting new customers & old.

John was brilliant, he made prompt contact to come round initially to give us a quote and then was quick to give us a date to replace our old rotten wood decking for composite decking. The end result is amazing. I can't recommend him highly enough, he's a hard worker who takes pride in his work.

John did a great job for us. Some of our door frames are on the slant, but John made sure each door fitted well. He communicates well, turns up when he promises to, clears up well and works tidily. I will use him again for woodwork jobs.
