I don't usually leave negative feedback. But in this case I have been left no option. I had the work carried out laying solid oak floors which cost me £1600. Within a very short space of time I realised the floor was lifting and gaps appearing in the floor. In the summer the floor expanded and started pushing the doors and edges. At this point I contacted the tradesman to no satasfactory outcome. I'm so annoyed I spent all this money sourced a trader through a reputable site and still the floor looks a mess

Mark installed a toilet / sink under the stairs. Good communication throughout the job and completed in a timely manner. Definitely would use Mark again

Julian at Beauchief was both professional in his approach and diligent in his work. Communication was very good both talking through the job / options and during, with regular photos updating progress. I would have no hesitation in using him again.

Job didn't last long, started leaking again when it rained heavy. wasted money. Another company looked at the chimney and flat roof and politely described the job as done by cons, using this site to get quick cash from urgent jobs, which if not done professionally costs more in the long run. The banter is part of the deception.

At the time the work was done in August we were satisfied. Albeit the work was left unfinished as he didn't exactly complete what he agreed to, to our satisfaction. I was back at work myself as the work ran over the 5 days agreed. Looking at it right now, the standard was poor, surfaces were not smoothed off and marks left everywhere. The main damp corner has now come back damp as when the work was commissioned. Disappointing really as now looks like we have been taken for fools for 700 notes.

within 5 minutes of my advert going live L&P roofers & builders telephoned to say that they can come round within the hour & fix the leaks today. Quoted £550, job completed in half an hour. Next day the heavens opened & found the roof still leaking & pouring in from the top of the windows. Contacted L&P same day but no one was picking up!! Monday I received a text from Luke saying he had a bad signal where he was at & best to text him instead, email, texts no reply

These guys were fantastic, turned up on time and did a great job. Ended up staying quite late into the evening fixing a mystery plumbing issue ( no fault of theirs) and didn't leave until it was perfect. They even came back 20 minutes later because they thought they'd forgotten to tidy something up. Couldn't ask for better service. Really nice, friendly people, who get the job done properly at a reasonable price. Would recommend and will be using again.

Wow this person is so untrustworthy & unprofessional. A professional roofer has advised me that roofing felt should always be adhered with a heat gun. Ben Brown of ABI said he hadn't stuck it down because the sun would heat it and make it stick! then scarpered. It came loose because it wasn't stuck down in the 1st place not because of any storm. He hasn't even offered to come and take a look. Before I realised how unprofessional he was I referred my neighbour who wanted a shed doing -he did not even reply

Be careful of this company. These people are thieves . This company came out and quoted my job. They ask for half for down payment. Which was £2400 of which I pay And the other half when the job is completed. They received the frist payment of £2400 and they brought a palette of brick and started the porch. Which was in poor standards . Pointed it out . The boss Michelle agree and said they will correct it. They never returned and they block my no. Be very careful of these people. Would no recommend them

Turned up and worked hard, sometimes in really bad weather. Removed years of undergrowth and left us with a garden that will be a lot easier to maintain. Left everything clean and tidy.Really friendly team who worked around our holidays to leave us with a good lawn.

They caused a gas leak, they went door to door to all my neighbors trying to quote for garden work. They took my neighbours tools and used their water without permission - that’s trespassing. They left mess in my garden. They did not do the work as agreed. Very disappointed

Not trustworthy. Told me he was running a limited company, then when I asked for details, told me the company number is his telephone number! Told me he would supply an invoice for payment, but didn't. Instead just sent a text with his bank details. When I queried about the invoice he said , it will come after payment. No surprise, invoice didn't turn up. And when I called/texted/emailed he just ignored me. I don't trust all of the work was done, but i wasn't able to supervise as I'm not nearby.

Haven't stuck to their word, took payment, haven't finished the job, didn't turn up at the times they, didn't bring correct equipment, left the difficult to reach part of the wallpaper, why take on a job you can't do. The woman who came to the house on the last day wasn't the one I dealt with via rated and she told my mum to 'piss off'. Tried ringing Shantelle Maughan, wouldn't answer, seems to have blocked me on WhatsApp. Happy to update this review if they come back and finish job.
