Experienced builder NEW TO RATED PEOPLE ???? Hi everyone. I’m Mitch, I’ve been in the trade since leaving school. I am a general builder that specialises in timber work. I do most jobs from small jobs like laminate flooring all the way upto 2 storey extensions. For the larger jobs I have a reliable team of builders including electricians, plumbers and bricklayers. Kes installed my new kitchen, boxed pipes and changed the front door lock! He was very polite hard working and gave a very competitive price and has extreme attention to detail!. A very trustworthy individual and reliable. It took a total of 3 days for Kes to install the kitchen to an amazing standard. One day he worked flat out from 9am to 9:30pm to get the job done! I had my timber casement windows refurbishment done by GW Windows and Glazing. They replaced all glass, sanded frames, new window furniture (fasteners and stays), putty and 3 coats of paint. I am extremely happy as the windows should last another 10 years before any future maintenance for 1/5th of the price for double glazing. Family run business with over 100 years experience combined between the team. Loved working with them. Extremely happy. Highly recommended for a reasonable quote.

We are a team of 2 carpenters, me (Dan) and my father in law (Danut).We cover most aspects of 1st and 2nd fix gaining experience in the years spent in industry. Both of us have NVQ Level 2 in carpentry, valid CSCS Card and public liability insurance.
I first hired Dan to fit some new doors at our house back in October 2024. It started with 6 doors, but then I added another 2. Dan sent me many supplier links to look at once we had decided what style of doors we wanted. This led onto several more projects. He always offered good and honest advice, was very helpful. He is conscientious and trustworthy, and his attention to detail is superb. I will be using Dan again as I have a number of projects which will require Dan’s skill and expertise.
