George and his team are experienced builders, replaced my front door with a custom frame/sidelights and raising the floor level in the hallway quite quickly - in fact, they were the only who came next day, gave a quote straightaway and were ready to start in just couple of days. Liam was a really nice guy he hung 5 doors and replaced all the skirting in 3 of our bedrooms. The work was carried out to a good standard. Liam was asked to have a look at our creaking stairs while he was there and was kind enough to fix this at the same time free of charge. Liam's number has been saved in my phone and he will be my first call should I need any form of joinery in the near future. Also left the place nice and tidy finished on time. I'm a fully qualified Carpenter/Joiner with 20 years experience in all aspects of carpentry. Working in both commercial and domestic properties I have renovated sash windows, fitted kitchens and repaired and laid natural wood / laminate flooring.
I would not recommend you use Richard. The initial consultation was good and the process agreed for the work was fair. However, Richard did not turn up on the day. I tried to call and there was no response. I later found out there had been a family death, so we renegotiated a date for the work to commence only to experience the same situation; a no show. This time there was no call, as to why he didn’t show. Richard demonstrated a complete lack of professionalism and respect. Stay well clear!
Top drawer. When dean gave us the quote it was not the cheapest we had received. However the detail in it won us over and sure enough there were no extra costs that could of been seen at the outset. Tidy every night. Accommodating. Excellent standard of work. Very happy customers. Intend to use this company again.

It is unfair for me to put 'Poor' but there is not an appropriate 'option' choice in your list to explain what happened. I have no idea what his work is like as there was a misunderstanding about when he was supposed to come, and eventually I had to cancel the job.
We are a construction company that provides all aspects of building works from house extensions to simple electrics. We work within Herts, Beds and Bucks and are based in letchworth . I am a fully qualified NIC electrician and have 15 years experience in construction.
We were hugely impressed by Courtney and his team. Everything came out on budget, and they were fast, reliable, and left the house clean and in order each day. Very nice people to work with, and can't recommend them highly enough. We are using his team again for an additional extension.
