George and his team are experienced builders, replaced my front door with a custom frame/sidelights and raising the floor level in the hallway quite quickly - in fact, they were the only who came next day, gave a quote straightaway and were ready to start in just couple of days. They also had all the necessary tools and materials, were ready to buy something additional quickly on the day - if further adjustments were required to fit everything as I asked. Gareth, the proprietor of GMS is a qualified wood machinist by trade and has over 25 years’ experience working within the construction industry. Gareth first started the business in 2005 with a view to provide clients across North Wales and Cheshire with kitchens. In the last 10 years the business has diversified and now accommodates a scheme of works within construction from kitchens to bathrooms, gardens to bedrooms, fire and flood damaged properties and more. Gareth employs several staff and subcontracts to NICEIC registered Electricians and GAS SAFE registered gas engineers. Therefore, GMS can offer project managing and the client only needs to converse with one trade [GMS] rather than multiple. Thus, taking the stress out of the job.

When Craig came round he was able to tell me that my initial plan wouldnt quite work, so we formulated a new one, and even though i had awkward times for him to arrive he managed to fit us in and complete the job to the exact standard I required. Good competitive quote. Excellent team of workers. Our original plan was changed by a suggested improvement by Chris (who deserves extra praise) which turned out to be brilliant. Slight increase in the price due to the extra work but well worth it. Would highly recommend and wouldn't hesitate to employ again if the quote was competitive. Really good quality work but really unreliable. I had him start a job in February and it's still not completed. Always cancelling when I took time off work to be at home to allow access and monitor works in my home. Really shocked that I have been totally disregarded as a customer who has also paid good money to get work done. Would not recommend!! avoid.
