I am Raymond, self employed painter & decorator. I am working with this trade for about 10 years. I was working at so many projects, like hotels, offices, leisure centres and private homes. And I know my work from preparing until smooth finish. I am keen and hard working. Besides that trade I am working as multi trader. Doing tiling, carpentry and basic plumbing. I had initial doubts about using this website to find good tradesmen. But DIR Solutions have changed my mind. communication was excellent and they were able to complete the task and exceed my expectations. This was a very difficult task and will be calling on them regularly to do other jobs in the future. It is a pity that i am unable to post before and after photos of this job on this website. Thanks to this company, I can now access a portion of my garden that was totally swamped by errant thorn bushes..

My career in roofing began in 1978, predominately on new build developments. In 1987, although continuing with the new builds, I began to branch out into domestic roofing. This included re-roofs, extensions, repairs and leak investigation. Alongside this, in 2010 I took a Contracts Manager position with a national roofing company, In this role I am responsible for the labour and materials required for various developments in the South East. It is also part of my role to oversee the customer service team. My contacts within the industry enable me to obtain very competitive prices on materials. I also have a large labour resource to carry out even the bigger jobs.

Oliver visited me to talk about the design I wanted for the new wall. He got an idea of how I would like it and was very helpful with any questions during his visit. The team of Leon, Lee and Will were very good. Leon made sure that everyone knew what was agreed. Do the job they made sure I was happy with the work. David was excellent. Communication superb, always replied to emails and texts very promptly. Excellent tiling. Flexible, accommodating and nothing was too much trouble. Although he was scheduled to finish as planned at the end of the week and would have done had the taps I ordered had come on time, he came back as soon as the taps were the delivered the following week. Two bathrooms and downstairs loo done and we will be asking David to come back to do our two other bathrooms.
