The quote was better than expected. The builders were very clean and tidy each day. The work was completed despite the weather conditions not being perfect. The finished walls were to a high standard when compared to other nearby residential properties that have been recently pointed. I would recommend this company to anyone asking for a similar job request. My neighbours have asked for contact details of the builder after seeing the work completed.

Used GR building to re slate my roof. after 3 weeks 2 slates came off. Repeatedly rang and left messages and he finally came back to sort it out after not appearing the first date given. 3 more slates have just come off. Even taking into account the strong winds I find it unacceptable that this can happen. I will not be asking him it sort it this time as I have no confidence he will do the job correctly and have made alternative arrangements.

Painted external walls of mum's bungalow. She has Alzheimer's so workmen needed to understand the situation, especially as I couldn't be there all the time. PB installed a new Velux window where an old skylight had been positioned. The job turned out to be more complicated than first anticipated. However, PBs staff stayed as long as the task took (working into the dark and coming back the next day) and charged no extra. They were punctual, polite, friendly, and professional and the job was reasonably priced.

Left my pointing with mortar all over the face of the brickwork. Said it would come off in a few days . I paid the agreed price to do the job but wanted extra money to come and clean up their work. Also I have a patch missing . Won’t answer my calls or text now Would not recommend

Not trustworthy. Told me he was running a limited company, then when I asked for details, told me the company number is his telephone number! Told me he would supply an invoice for payment, but didn't. Instead just sent a text with his bank details. When I queried about the invoice he said , it will come after payment. No surprise, invoice didn't turn up. And when I called/texted/emailed he just ignored me. I don't trust all of the work was done, but i wasn't able to supervise as I'm not nearby.
