Job was to sand the floor of our flat and we set a price. After asking for more they guaranteed to finish for the extra price. A day later they pulled out of the job leaving it un finished. They said it was due to a black tar like substance. they said they had tried everything. My painter and decorator took a torch and scrapper and had it up in minutes. They had the wrong tools and seemed like first flooring job. After contacting asking to finish he said he would get back to me but failed to be reached.

My name is Akos, I am originally an architect but I have a company called Zebra Services here in the South of England including South London. I do a lot of things by trade but my favourite occupation and our specialty is roofing, guttering, chimney and decorating, and painting, this includes minor plasterboard work, doors, skirting boards etc. But I wouldd rather have them talk about what others think of us: Akos and his colleague that worked on our house were thorough professionals and took great pride in the work they do. Honest, on time, and always thinking on their customers' behalf. He will be my first call if I have anything else that needs looking into around the house. Beware these people are not professional or painters. On two occassions they turned up 2 hours late then said they needed to go straight back out again for coffee and food. They never laid dust sheets and the furniture, and floor was covered in emulsion. Lee had an injured hand, i had made clear I didnt want him back, came back a 2nd time. He broke the pot out of my slow cooker.They stayed 4 hours and only did a fraction of my lounge. I offerered a drink , and they asked for beer after seeing I had some.

Rob and his team did a really high quality job and we are very pleased with the end result (and I am the son of a builder, so my expectations were high to start with).. The finish is excellent on the render and the quality is constant through what was a fairly large rendering job on my detached house. Worked very hard 1st day and offered him and mate more work however turned up one week later with mate at 9.45!! Other trades had been at the site from 7.30am it held up a number of jobs. Asked them to leave.... In fareness should have talked times with them however not sure who starts work at 9.45am?
