Hello! My name is Tony, I'm a self employed joiner and i have just signed up with rated people, hoping to find some new customers. I am 53 yrs old and I've been working for myself for approx. 23yrs.I work on my own and the jobs i carry out include hanging doors, laying flooring, fitting skirting and facings, sliding doors, loft ladders and flooring, shelving and storage, erect fences and repair/renew damaged timber work.
Absolutely delighted with Tony's work. He was an excellent communicator, arriving on time to assess the work and delivering a quote promptly. He arrived early every morning and worked hard throughout the day. His work was of a high standard and he was solutions focused when there were tricky jobs to complete. Here at F.Scott Roofing and Roughcasting we are highly experienced & highly qualified tradesman. My name is Fraser Scott, owner of of the company. I am a fully qualified roofer & roughcaster with an svq level 3 & sqv level 4 advance roofing.
Agreed a cash price with Fraser for new roof and guttering with all the guarantees, but when it came to pay he then tells me if i wanted a guarantee I’d have to pay the vat. Don’t get me wrong the lads worked well but very messy as they just through the tiles off the roof into the skip instead of using a chute. Needed him back to sort guttering as it had come apart but got told when I’m next in the area needless to say I’m still waiting months later. Beware!! Don’t pay cash.

I have over 14 years of experience in the building trade(started young). I am able to do all aspects of building work except plumbing and electrics and take great joy in all i do. Being a builder I have realised their is always solutions to any problem.
Arrived on time and did what we wanted done (loft ladder). Was pleasant and polite observing current Covid rules. We have arranged for him to come back and do various other jobs.
