A quick, efficient and friendly set of guys. I had them in to clean and paint my mums fence, and then she asked them to do some jet washing and further painting around the garage. I've used Cardiff Garden Services and Thom, twice now and have no hesitation in recomending him to anybody. not happy with the quote for the two small walls you knocked out thought you were putting skirting around no you just wanted too ad on materials etc going on about paint your fuel too pick it up what's that got too do with me then had the cheek too ask us for another 350 pounds just too do a few bits of skirting and build another cupboard then I had a quote for the ceiling lol you said we needed a new ceiling quoted me 900 then you said it might be extra work yes it was a joke never mind eh you got paid

A difficult job in a very old building. Plenty of communication prior to fitting of non-standard door and frame. Work carried-out to instructions. Will use again. Highly recommended.
My main work is carpentry joinery, but also do the whole job, ie repair or redo the wood work, repair the plaster and redec. I have worked on national trust buildings, repairing to perfection and because I love gardening I do garden tidies and make overs as an extra side line.

No one ever rang me to give me a quote.
This tradesman's? standard of work is appalling & I can only assume his Rated People reviews are false. We had no option but to dismiss him after he ruined our lounge. The numerous faults eg. large gaps above bay window, uneven walls, plastering abysmal. His cleaning up was non-existent & left my home in a disgraceful mess, cement and plaster covering our wooden floor & doors. We had to hack off all his work and start again! This has cost us dearly, not to mention the stress. RATED PEOPLE? I DONT THINK SO!

I arranged an appointment for you to provide an estimate for the job. You failed to come, nor have you contacted me during the week since to explain, apologise or rearrange the appointment.
Came to quote. Agreed to take on the job. Contacted me that morning to cancel as he "had to sort out a problem with existing job". After a few weeks I called to arrange a new date at 5pm and he agreed to come the following morning. Texted my address again as requested (admittedly on the morning he was due but before he had arranged to turn up. Received text telling me he thought I had changed my mind and was doing another job. This is less than 12 hours after we agreed. Getting someone else.
