Every member of the team involved in the bathroom installation - plumber, tiler, carpenter, electrician, floorer - was, from start to finish, professional, highly skilled, reliable, clean and friendly. The work took longer than I expected but I am delighted with the result: top quality at a competitive price. I am planning similar work on my kitchen and shall certainly be inviting Root Construction to give me a quote.

George and his team did a superb job at our house. His punctuality and communication have been outstanding; he always replies very quickly to messages and sent us countless videos of his work to keep us updated. He gave us some very fair and informed advice on how to tackle extra problems with our roof. His invoices were very detailed and clear and competitively priced. Fully recommended! We needed a new arial and decided while action aerials were with us to connect all our rooms so they could be connected to tv's. Job satisfactory and tradesman quick.

Quick response from Scott. Addition of new sockets in the house & garage. External lighting and sockets fitted for a hot tub. Very neat wiring and efficient with time. Would happily use Scott again.

A difficult job in a very old building. Plenty of communication prior to fitting of non-standard door and frame. Work carried-out to instructions. Will use again. Highly recommended.

I can accept that problems occur and that Christmas is a busy time, but that is no excuse for the complete lack of contact and honesty. So, in the circumstances I do not wish for you to continue with the job.

AVOID. This woman obviously knows about plants & likes to 'potter' in the garden but she is not a commercial gardener, borrowing our garden tools for example and unwilling to follow my instructions (he who pays the piper calls the tune Becky!) left job unfinished as not happy with quote she had given because taking too long. Paying her by the hour would have been even more of a disaster!

They were prompt to come. Andrew was very clean as he wore shoe sleves to protect my floor. They were quick in repairing my anthena and now i can see the tv in all rooms. However, estimated phone cost did not match the final price.

Poor quality work, had to get it re-done. Did not remove bamboo root as asked, hid it inside a raised bed along with lots of rubbish. Poor brickwork on raised bed - didn't even notice had changed from stretcher bond until I pointed out the mess. Patio & path had wobbly slabs (turns out they had laid it without a sub base) & when I asked them to re-do they didn't turn up to finish the job. Hassled for money as they went along, unfortunately I paid most of it. Had to use the remainder to get it done right.
