George and his team are experienced builders, replaced my front door with a custom frame/sidelights and raising the floor level in the hallway quite quickly - in fact, they were the only who came next day, gave a quote straightaway and were ready to start in just couple of days. This was a two-stage project. The proprietor was keen to keep me informed with progress, issues deadlines etc and as such I always felt I was an integral part of the project. The standard of finish cannot be faulted with highly professional and friendly workmen being utilised for the work. Any post-build snags were quickly dealt with no quibble. So I've been in carpentry since I left school and all other aspects of the building trade. Worked in some beautiful places doing first and second fix carpentry, maintenance and joinery and have good experience in site work private work and construction. Quick reply but the job was not done properly. Screws were not installed correctly and 2 of them were missing the screw heads. I had to call another carpenter to fix it.

My quote was prompt and quick, based on photos as I wasn't local for them to pop out and look at the rooms. I was very impressed with Ben & Pete from PJPS Construction, they were friendly, professional and stayed late to get the job finished ahead of the estimated timescale. Plaster work is great in the Kitchen and Master Bedroom. I would definitely recommend them.

He gives good prices, but in the end leaves you hanging. Luke replastered the whole house, but some of the work was sloppy. My living room wall is still covered with bumps, which he was supposed to fix before his dad redecorated. His dad painted right over them. This is just one of several problems. So then Luke asked for an early payment and that he would sort all the problems I raised and until then I can hold off 100 pounds. He has since buggered off. I call him, I now get voice mail. Left me hangin

I have provided a phone number in the chat. A £8000 job falling apart in less than a year is really poor work. It would be great if fixed by yourselves. At least you are saying 10 years guarantee here on line.
John is a really nice guy, I'd love to rate his actual work but after chasing for quotes for a few weeks I should have realised. I've been constantly chasing for three months to get the work complete. No option but to return insurance cheque for payment for the work I can't get completed and go through the whole process again with someone reliable. Shame as i said he seemed a really nice guy!.
Handyman, most aspects of work undertaken
Came to fit a new shower tray and enclosure 19/12 and fit a lintel over a fire which was done well.However the shower we found 2 days after, due to waiting for sealant to dry, is unusable as the water does not drain away and floods the floor, also the tiles they put on around the shower fell off the wall as they were not stuck on properly before grout. I had paid them the day the job was done .I asked Paul to rectify it and he said he would on 31/12,then didn't attend & told me to get another plumber !

George Bell came to work on some damp related issues in my flat in feb. since having completed the works the problems which first occurred have turned worse and George has been unwilling to get back in contact with me, despite chasing him for 5 months which only reaffirms that the job was poorly undertaken. The company main reception also seems to be a virtual reception so you can never speak with anyone helpful
